About lead time

Choro Music is not a reseller or distributor; you are buying the play-along albums directly from the publisher.

Most of Choro Music albums are kept in our inventory and we are able to ship small quantities (up to 10 albums) in 24 hours.

Our Sales Tax Policy

We are required to collect sales tax on purchases shipped to California, the state where we currently have business operations.

For orders shipped to California, tax is calculated based on the merchandise subtotal.

Tax-Exempt Individuals

If tax was charged on your order and you would like to claim tax-exempt status, you can request an adjustment for the amount of sales tax charged by sending in documentation of your tax-exempt status.

Please fax a copy of your tax-exempt certificate along with your order number to the attention of the Customer Service department at (510) 657-2465. After we make the adjustment to your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.

USA Shipping Choices

BUDGET DELIVERY - US Postal Service
Usually takes 1 to 3 weeks to reach you AFTER leaving our warehouse.

2 BUSINESS DAY AIR - Fedex
Usually takes 2 business days to reach you AFTER leaving our warehouse. Fedex does not deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

NEXT BUSINESS DAY AIR - Fedex
Usually takes one business day to reach you AFTER leaving our warehouse. Fedex does not deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Non-USA Shipments

Length of final delivery depends on the typical speed of mail delivery in your country and the time required for products to move through your country's customs or import tax system.

BUDGET AIR/GROUND - Postal Mail
Ships by air to your country's postal system, then by ground to final destination. Usually takes 3 to 6 weeks to reach your country's national postal system AFTER leaving our warehouse.

STANDARD AIR - Postal Mail
Ships by air to your country's postal system, then by 1st class to final destination. Usually takes 1 to 3 weeks to reach your country's national postal system AFTER leaving our warehouse.

EXPRESS AIR - Fedex
Usually takes 2 to 4 business days to reach your country AFTER leaving our warehouse. Fedex does not deliver to Post Office Boxes.

Customs or Import Taxes

Packages delivered in the USA never have any customs or imports taxes. Packages delivered outside the USA, however, may incur customs or import taxes. We have no control over whether your country will charge customs or import taxes when the package reaches your country. We write on customs forms what is inside each package as well as the cost of your order. The person who receives the order is responsible for paying all costs associated with moving their package through their country's customs or import tax system, and we cannot make refunds to customers who do not receive shipments because they have declined to pay these costs. We recommend that you contact your local customs or import office for further information on what these charges may be before you make an order.

How to Handle Returns

Take 30 days after we ship your order to make sure you are satisfied. If not, return any product and we will refund its purchase price. We'll also refund shipping costs if the return is due to our error or the product is defective. Credit card purchases will be refunded by credit card credit. Returned products must be in original packing complete with warranty card and owner's manual, and be in original unused condition.

A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SOFTWARE AND RECORDED MEDIA - Due to manufacturer restrictions, software and recorded media (including play-along CDs, videos, DVDs, karaoke CDs, etc.) can only be returned if the manufacturer-sealed plastic shrink-wrap has not been opened. When returning a product, include a copy of your packing invoice and mail it to:

We will issue your refund soon after receiving your return at our warehouse. We’ll also refund shipping charges if your return is due to a defect or our error. If you believe this is the case, just describe the defect or error in writing on the packing invoice included with the return. This way our returns department will be able to make the correct refund if it’s appropriate.
